Strategic
Direction: In the early
1990’s, played an integral role in
successfully lobbying the Louisiana
Legislature to allow the implementation of a
convenience fee (Surcharge) on ATM withdrawal
transactions. This preceded the national
surcharge explosion in 1996. The
implementation of these fees led to the rapid,
and sustained, growth of ATM installations
outside of branch locations. This model
was particularly successful at locations such
as casinos, hotels and retail stores.

and Integration: Participated
in numerous acquisitions and conversion from
both the retail banking and ATM operations
areas. Most notably the acquisition of Pelican
Homestead and the integration of Central Bank
of Monroe.
